Edit: In light of information from my dear I'm editing bits here.

The wings shouldn't really be transparent due to the fact they'd be quite thick to cope with the everyday stresses of being a large flying animal, eg crash-landing, in-flight mating, fighting etc.

Astra's wing membranes are thick, a few inches if not more thick, and very hardened. Light doesn't shine through them :3 She has to be able to survive crash landings, and mating on wing.

See through membranes have always been a peeve of mine (unless on the ethereal dream-dragons) because although the membranes are skin...they take quite a beating in an animalistic dragons lifestyle :3
