But he does look rather shiney :3
I just realised I've not coloured his extra Xio-marks >< (on the back of his tail and the little leg bands)
All the orange and glowy parts were done using just THREE crayola colours :3
(On the Abydos at dawn peice, I used about seven Derwnts opn just the flight feathers o__o )

The basics for colouring for me is to use complimentary colours :3
Eg if its yellow shade with oranges and reds for a hot theme, greens and blues for a cold theme ^^
